Requisitos
- Position usually needs to be on shortage occupation list
- Contract guaranteeing at least one year at minimum wage or better
- Company must be square with taxes and social security
- Cannot be in Spain during the process
Path Forward
First permit ties you to that specific employer for one year. First renewal loosens things up—two years, more job flexibility. After first renewal, family reunification opens up. Five total years gets permanent residency.
